What AgentPass does today — and what it doesn't.

What does the free scan check?

AgentPass reads a small sample of your public website (at most 20 pages), plus files like robots.txt and your sitemap. It checks whether AI agents can find what you sell, understand prices and availability, find your locations, and take actions like building a cart or starting checkout. Restaurants are checked for menus, dietary information and ordering instead.

Is this a test inside ChatGPT, Gemini or other AI apps?

No. The free scan is a public agent-readiness test: it looks at what any agent could see on your public website. It is not a test run inside a specific AI app, and every result is labelled with how it was verified.

When you connect your store or system, AgentPass can verify capabilities like inventory and carts directly against it.

Will every AI agent automatically discover my business?

Not automatically. Each AI ecosystem has its own way of discovering businesses, and some require their own approval. AgentPass publishes your capabilities through supported agent protocols and shows the real status of each one — including when a platform's approval is still needed.

Can AgentPass fix everything the scan finds?

No. AgentPass fixes issues through connected integrations — today Shopify and the AgentPass Custom API. Some issues need a change on your website (for example, publishing how your rewards program works). Your report marks which is which and says exactly what to change.

What do AgentPass analytics cover?

Agent traffic and actions that flow through AgentPass, and orders AgentPass can trace back to an agent-created cart. AgentPass can't see every AI conversation about your business, and it keeps demand (what agents asked for) separate from revenue.

Do I need a developer?

Not for the scan, the report or connecting Shopify. A developer helps if you connect your own system through the Custom API. Technical details are always available under “Developer details”.

Does AgentPass handle payments?

No. AgentPass never handles card details and never becomes the merchant of record. Agents hand shoppers off to your own checkout. Your AgentPass subscription is billed securely through Stripe.

What happens to my data?

The scan only reads public pages. If you connect a system, its credentials are encrypted. Read exactly what we collect in our privacy notice, or how our crawler behaves on the AgentPassBot page.
